Bali Pass Trek

Bali Pass Trek

The Bali Pass Trek is one of the most demanding high-altitude treks in Uttarakhand, connecting the Har Ki Doon Valley with the Yamunotri region. Spanning over 60 km and reaching a maximum altitude of 16,207 ft, this trek is classified as Difficult and is best suited for experienced trekkers with excellent fitness.

Starting from Sankri village and ending at Janki Chatti, the trail passes through alpine forests, wide meadows, glacial terrain, and steep snow-covered sections. Trekkers are rewarded with breathtaking views of Swargarohini, Bandarpoonch, and Kalanag (Black Peak). A major highlight of the trek is Ruinsara Lake, a serene glacial lake surrounded by towering peaks.

Known for its isolation, challenging climbs, and raw Himalayan beauty, the Bali Pass Trek is ideal for those seeking adventure, solitude, and a true test of endurance in the mountains.
